At Delta Panels, we believe that innovation and community go hand in hand — and sometimes, the most meaningful projects have nothing to do with large-scale developments or commercial builds, but with compassion and craftsmanship.
In June, Graame, a member of the Ipswich Lutheran Men’s Shed, reached out to Delta Panels. The group needed materials to construct a small spray booth for their workshop but had not received funding. They asked if they could purchase some seconds panels to make it possible.
When our team learned what the project was really for — the Men’s Shed members were crafting beautiful, ornate timber boxes for parents and families at Ipswich Hospital who have tragically lost their newborns — we were genuinely moved.
This heartfelt initiative represented the very best of community spirit: people using their skills to bring comfort to others in unimaginable circumstances.
So instead of providing seconds, Delta Panels decided to go one better.
We manufactured and donated brand-new insulated Delta Cool Panels and aluminium extrusions to help the Men’s Shed complete their spray booth and continue their extraordinary work. Graame, having no previous experience constructing with insulated panels, created the perfect space on wheels for convenience when needing to move around the shed.
By supporting their mission, we hope these panels play a small part in helping create something meaningful for families experiencing such deep loss.
This collaboration is a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful builds aren’t measured in square metres — but in kindness, empathy, and community connection.
Delta Panels is proud to support the Ipswich Lutheran Men’s Shed and their remarkable initiative to bring comfort through craftsmanship.
