Delta’s insulated roofing panels have received the big blue tick of approval from Australia’s leading independent certification scheme.
The check makes it easier for customers who use Delta Panel’s Australian-made materials to obtain building approvals.
Delta Panels general manager Todd Guy said the tick meant customers could have confidence in the high quality of panels and that they did what they promised.
“CodeMark has certified that our panels with Expanded Polystyrene-FR (EPS-FR) and Polyisocyanurate (PIR) cores comply with the national Building Code,” Todd said.
Panels filled with Expanded Polystyrene-FR (EPS-FR)are fire retardant as the core shrinks away from any flame source.
They are also strong but lightweight and very cost effective in commercial and residential buildings.
Panels with a Polyisocyanurate (PIR) core are also fire retardant.
“Insulated panels are used to build everything from patios to homes, factories to chicken farms, so it’s important that all our panels live up to our promise of being fire retardant,” Todd said.
“The CodeMark certification shows the panels have been independently checked and meet Australia’s strict safety regulations.”
